Buyer FAQ

Everything wholesale buyers usually ask before a first order. Can’t find your answer? Ask us directly.

Ordering & wholesale pricing

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQ is 50 pieces per order, and you can combine our four categories (Premium, Classic, Small and Mini) to reach it. A good first order spans two or three sizes, so you can see what sells in your market before reordering.

Can I choose specific designs?

We sell by category, not by individual design. Each category is supplied as a mixed assortment from current production, which keeps every delivery varied. Tell us your colour preference (black & natural, earth tones, colourful or blue tones) and we weight your assortment towards it. For a specific design in volume, ask about custom production.

How do I get your wholesale price list?

Send a quote request or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll reply within one working day with current wholesale prices. Pricing depends on the category (Mini to Premium), quantity and destination, with better tiers as your volume grows.

Can I order samples before a bulk order?

Yes. Sample packs of 3–6 designs ship by air express. The sample cost is credited against your first order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer (T/T), Wise, PayPal for samples. Production orders are usually paid 30% deposit, 70% before shipment. Ready-stock orders and samples are paid in full before dispatch.

How long does an order take?

Ready-stock orders are packed and dispatched in 5–10 working days. Production and custom orders take 30–45 days, depending on quantity and the time of year. We confirm the date in writing with your proforma invoice.

Can I see the whole range in one document?

Yes. Our printable line sheet shows the four categories with sizes, category codes and example photos. Use your browser’s “Save as PDF” to keep a copy for your buying team.

Product & quality

What are the wall plates made of?

Each plate is built from bundles of natural grass wrapped and stitched with thin strips of date palm leaf, one coil at a time. The colours come from dyed palm strips worked into the pattern as the spiral grows.

Are they handmade? Will every piece look identical?

Every piece is hand-coiled by women artisans in South Asia. Because they are made by hand, colour placement, weave and size vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photos. Diameter can differ by a centimetre or two from the listed size. This is part of the character of the craft, and buyers should expect it.

How do the plates hang on the wall?

They are light, so a single small nail, pin or adhesive hook is enough. Pass it through the outer weave just below the rim. Hanging hardware is not included as standard; ask us if you would like loops or hooks attached for retail.

How should the plates be cared for?

Dust with a soft dry brush or cloth. Keep them dry and away from constant humidity, and avoid long periods of strong direct sunlight, which can fade natural dyes.

Are these Native American baskets?

No. The patterns are inspired by the basketry of the American Southwest and woven by women artisans in South Asia using their own grass-and-palm technique. They are not made by Native American artisans and must not be marketed as such. In the United States, the Indian Arts and Crafts Act prohibits selling products in a way that falsely suggests they are Native American-made. We label every shipment clearly to help you stay compliant.

Shipping & export

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide. Most orders go to retailers and importers in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, Australia and the Gulf. Small orders travel by air express, and larger volumes go by air or sea freight.

Which Incoterms do you offer?

EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP. With DDP we handle freight, customs clearance and duties to your door, so the landed cost is known up front. With EXW or FOB you use your own forwarder.

How are the plates packed for export?

Plates are nested by size, wrapped in kraft paper and packed in strong export cartons with minimal plastic. Nesting keeps carton volume, and therefore freight cost, low. Each carton is labelled with category codes and quantities.

Which export documents do you provide?

Every shipment comes with a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Plant-fibre products need extra paperwork in some countries, such as Australia and New Zealand. Tell us your destination and we’ll confirm which phytosanitary or treatment certificates apply before you order.

What HS code do woven wall baskets use?

Basketwork made directly to shape from vegetable plaiting materials is generally classified under HS heading 4602, typically subheading 4602.19 for grass and palm. Your customs broker confirms the final national tariff code and duty rate.

Custom designs & private label

Can you make custom colours or sizes?

Yes. On production orders we can adapt colourways to your palette, scale designs up or down, and develop exclusive patterns. The minimum per custom design depends on its size and complexity, and we confirm it with your quote.

Can you add our brand labels and hang tags?

Yes. We can attach your hang tags, care cards, barcodes and country-of-origin labels, and pack to your retail or e-commerce requirements. See private label for details.
