Shipping to the UK
Air express suits samples and orders of a few cartons. Air or sea freight suits larger volumes into UK ports and airports. On DDP orders we handle customs clearance, duty and import VAT so the goods arrive like a domestic delivery. If you import yourself, you’ll need an EORI number starting with GB and can usually reclaim import VAT if you are VAT-registered.
Duty and origin
Goods from many developing countries can qualify for reduced or zero duty under the UK’s Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), provided the correct proof of origin is supplied. We prepare origin documents so your broker can claim any preference that applies.
Product safety information
UK retailers must be able to identify the products they sell and who made them. Each order includes a product information sheet with materials, care and handling notes, manufacturer details and category or batch references, and we can print these on your labels.
What sells in the UK
Natural, black-and-natural and blue-toned assortments sit well in British interiors with painted walls and wooden floors. Small and Mini plates sell strongly as gifts in the run-up to Christmas, so plan production orders from late summer.
