Terms of trade
These terms apply to all wholesale quotes and orders from Cultured Crafts unless we agree otherwise in writing on a proforma invoice.
1. Quotes and orders
Quotes are valid for 30 days. An order is confirmed when we issue a proforma invoice and receive the agreed payment. The minimum order is 50 pieces across our product categories, unless stated otherwise for custom work. Designs within a category are supplied as a mixed assortment from current production.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in the currency stated on the quote and exclude duties and import taxes unless the Incoterm is DDP. Production orders: 30% deposit, 70% before shipment. Ready-stock orders and samples are paid in full before dispatch. Accepted methods: Bank transfer (T/T), Wise, PayPal for samples.
3. Handmade products
Every piece is handwoven from natural materials. Slight variations in colour, pattern placement, shape and size, including diameter differences of a centimetre or two, are a normal characteristic and not a defect. Colours on screen may differ from the actual product.
4. Production and delivery
Ready stock is dispatched within 5–10 working days of payment. Production orders are completed within 30–45 days of deposit and sample approval, unless another date is agreed. We will tell you promptly about any delay.
5. Shipping and risk
Delivery terms follow the Incoterm (Incoterms® 2020) on the proforma invoice. Risk passes to you as that Incoterm defines. We pack all goods for export and include a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.
6. Inspection and claims
Please inspect goods on arrival. Report shortages or transit damage within 7 days of delivery, with photos of the cartons and products. We will replace, credit or refund confirmed claims. Claims for natural variation as described in section 3 cannot be accepted.
7. Custom designs and private label
Exclusive designs developed for you will not be sold to other buyers in your agreed market while you continue to order them. Prototype samples are charged at cost and credited against the production order. You confirm that any logos or artwork you supply may be used for your order.
8. Product descriptions
Our designs are inspired by the basketry of the American Southwest and are not made by Native American artisans. You agree not to market them in any way that suggests otherwise.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law stated on your proforma invoice. We aim to resolve any issue directly and quickly. Contact qazitariq@culturedcrafts.com.
