Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Cultured Crafts (“we”) collects through culturedcrafts.com, why, and what rights you have.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send through our forms, email or WhatsApp: name, company, email, phone, country, website, the designs and quantities you’re interested in, and your message.
- Technical data needed to run the site securely, such as IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider in server logs.
- Analytics, only if you accept the cookie banner: pages viewed and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics with IP anonymisation.
Your quote list is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) until you send it to us.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and fulfil orders. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the contract itself.
- To keep business records required by tax and customs law (legal obligation).
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, with your consent where cookies are involved.
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing newsletters unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us operate: our web host, email provider and, for orders, freight forwarders and customs brokers who need delivery details. WhatsApp conversations are handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Order records are kept for as long as tax and customs law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact qazitariq@culturedcrafts.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The site works without cookies. If analytics is enabled, it only loads after you click “Accept analytics”. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and you’ll be asked again.
