Shipping to the US
Samples and smaller orders travel by air express, door to door. Larger orders go by air freight or by ocean (LCL or FCL) to East or West Coast ports and on to your warehouse. Because baskets nest, a typical carton holds dozens of pieces, which keeps freight per piece low.
US rules on low-value imports changed in 2025, so even small parcels can now be subject to duties and fees. Choosing DDP means we settle duties and clearance before delivery and you receive the goods without a bill at the door.
Compliance checklist for US buyers
- Country of origin marking: every piece can carry a “Handmade in South Asia” label so it stays marked through to the end customer, as US customs rules require.
- Indian Arts and Crafts Act: it is illegal in the US to market goods in a way that falsely suggests they are Native American-made. Describe these pieces as “Southwest-inspired” or “coiled wall baskets”, never as “Native American”, “Navajo”, “Hopi” or tribal baskets. We supply compliant product descriptions you can paste into your listings.
- Plant-based materials: we provide species, material and origin information for your customs broker, including anything needed for a Lacey Act declaration if your tariff code requires one.

Black-and-natural designs suit modern farmhouse and minimal interiors. Earth tones fit the desert-modern and boho looks popular in the Southwest and on the West Coast.
